    you should never design your site in flash, unless it's purely for marketing purposes. flash content is difficult to update for most people either because they simply dont have the program or know how to use it.

    a CMS/portal site allows easy access to update content.

    flash parts/components that have purely eye candy purposes is fine. i learned my lesson with the last website that though the top nav done in flash was cool, it was a pain to update because i didnt script it to be updateable.

    sticking with html/css layout in a portal/adminnable type site is teh best way to go.

    I can always try and make something like this...color-wise anyway. A Black/Teal, but I will wait until they either want a web layout for an actual website, which I have been begging and asking for or until they wan't a new forum color scheme, which jeb hates. =P
