You still can. That's why you always see the guys on the corners, under the bridge, outside the grocery stores, etc selling pirated/bootleg DVDs and CDs.
There's a difference between boot legged cd's and home burned cd mixes. Cox prolly had a bunch of home made cd's with random songs on it, not boot legged cd's with cases and fake covers.
I had someone smash my car vent window. They took the knobs off my radio and the latch buttons for locking the doors. I kept my car unlocked so they wouldn't smash the window. Locking your car just gets the window smashed... Guess they didn't try the door first. They don't need a reason.. other than boredom. {alarms ftw}
