Possible Mortal Kombat Revamp

Movie Trailer = Awesome

Game Trailer = Wow, poor suckers who think thats awesome. Same shit, exactly the same shit, but new fatalities. Doesn't even look like they have new characters or moves or even 3d fighting.

 

How is this a review? It's just a trailer...

Anyways, could they have picked an uglier Sonya? Movie looks dope, but I never thought Scorpion would be a Bruce Lee, lol.

I know the trailer's been taken down (at least the one linked here), but the guy that made it now has the green light to make an actual movie!

You're right, they are intentional. Mortal Kombat has traditionally used a "k" in place of a "c" any time when possible. It's meant to reflect the characteristics of the fighters themselves, ie. those that take part in Mortal Kombat are fighters, and as fighters they are ill-educated and in general, intellectually neglected, and possibly even un-evolved as human beings (or whatever other life form they are)... hence the bad spelling.
