Not sure how things work in the States, but you may be able to get an XoO pubcrawl going with the PAX shirts (you could organize a pubcrawl and have the shirts as the 'tickets' per se)

yeah, i haven't looked deep yet and am pretty busy with work if we have a certain hotel picked legionwise and all i'm good with securing the room. Just figured that was on hold til the meeting. I should be on tonight after midnight central, late work.

So I spent a good bit of time in Seattle last year for work and/or play and it sure is a fun city. I'm looking into getting tickets for PAX, and then arranging flights/hotel etc. I'm pretty sure I can go right now, it's a ways off, so I'll just tell my boss now that I'm going to be MIA the first week of September... I know of a few GREAT bars/brew houses, as well as a couple restaurants. One Love, Cal
people that are going to PAX there is a music festival going on during the same time http://bumbershoot.org its a pretty big event that has lots of music groups http://bumbershoot.org/lineup/ went last year on monday, was something fun to do when pax is over.
hotels, flights etc we will be talking about after the community meeting on the 10th. So if you want to be in the same hotel for when we do our after-PAX events as PAX closes at 7.

ooo, I'm interested. I need to see if I can get the PTO. But I have found a Wyndham hotel that's only 7 miles from the convention center. Which is a possible "FREE" place to stay.
