Summary: Mortal Online is a lot like Darkfall, but is running on the Unreal 3 Engine. The game will be entirely in FPV with people being able to prone. It is a skill-based game, this means you are able to pick any ability you want. It is FFA Open World PvP with full looting, however, is not faction-based like Darkfall. There will be sieiging, epic quests and dungeons, skillful AI, ship combat, mounted combat. The epic quests are puzzle and riddle based so it will take a bit of thinking rather than "go here and kill 10 of this". Done. I wonder if working for a game company or associated media alters their chances of choosing people. Not that I'm currently in one, but I will be in future.
Well, I guess this can sub for a free trial... I'm interested enough in whether this game does a better job to at least take a look at it.
