just cause 2 on sale steam 50% off till the 3rd jan..7.49 usa i feel just cause 2 is going to have a huge jump in sales edit..the mod is free on steam reedit...first 3 mins i was laughing my ass off at my spectacular failure/crashes....5 mins my first kill was hillarious... 10 mins won my first race..just /race it sets you ina que for a race... its the most fun your going to have for 8 bucks...or even 16 bucks when sale is over
the highest number of players ive seen yet is 495 players on a 1000 players server..ping was 357 ....i do have under 50 ping servers but they are close to empty. new game eh? But I do see servers for 10,000 players..that is no typo...ten thousand players.
I have to say, some of the stuff in it isn't very good (players can hijack your vehicle while you're driving, there's no counter or even any indication of it) and there is some serious lag, I'm assuming just because of the sheer number of players. Other than that, the game is great.
I was in a server with about 500-600 peeps..no lag other than a few moments where i froze for 1 or 2 secs. I had a 50 ping. hopped in one with over 3000...it froze only a few more times..maybe once every 5 mins and still for only one or two secs. my avi would just spin in place.
