I am keeping my Rift order. People say the rift is more comfortable and I plan on sitting for 99% of my time ( Star Citizen , Project Cars , cockpit style games ) But way less than the 1000 - 1200 I had thought of it being.

Glad these are coming out and the Vive is priced pretty reasonably but I can't even imagine dropping the $ on the hardware at the moment when I'll need to do a PC upgrade next year or the year after. Plus the main selling feature of the Vive seems to be the space orientation which is more at home at a company, university, and other areas. I don't think I would use any of the extra features.

Honestly I am surprised that HTC is getting into that market. I know they make a good phone but it would be interesting to see if the make a good VR headset. On another note I have to agree with PersonalRiots statement

Just seems to experimental to me right now
