Scatter.... use anti-tank weaponry. It is important to create a large interval spacing between persons to minimize mass casualties. Also, it creates more targets over a larger area for the tank. This really depends on your loadout... if you do not have an effective means to engage the fighter such as AA survivability should be paramount.
