I want to use one of those mics to game without headphones, through my speakers. Was wondering if its possible to configure the mic to not pick up background noise. Example TS3 chit chat or music(on mid-low volume).
The background suppression would be mostly from software, and works best with two microphones, one pointing at you and one specifically pointin at the background noise so the software knows what to cancel out. Pickup pattern of the microphone also can help with the one pointed at you, omni would be bad for this situation, hypercardioid would be the best pickup patter.
