Hi all, Would anyone be interested in Lineage 2 Classic? https://eu.4game.com/lineage2classic/play/ It's an official server of Lineage 2 that uses "classic" content with some new changes. If you've played Lineage 2, it's fairly similar to Chronicle 3 update with some new content and class balancing. What makes Lineage 2 Classic worth trying? Amazing PvP. It's an open world game, so as you get higher level you'll need to fight for your exp spots. You also need to fight to get valuable Open World Raidbosses killed No instances. The game is entirely open world. Castle Sieges. Every other week, there is a 2-hour long intense pvp event where clans fight for castle control. Drama and politics. Since this is a niche community MMO, you get to know all the clans playing. It creates a true feeling of political dynamics, not too different than Game of Thrones Why might I not like this game? Grind. There is alot of grinding involved in Lineage 2. The server has been up for 18 months and no one has reached max level yet. That said, leveling has gotten easier. Party oriented. After level 40, you basically need to level in a party. You can't solo efficiently. Combat. Combat is not fast paced or twitchy. It's an old school game with click-to-move and targeted skills. Very similar to Albion Online Okay, I'm interested. Now what? If we can get 10 to 20 members interested in starting up together. I'll make a XenOfOnslaught clan and we can begin recruiting and leveling up together. I have quite a few characters already as I've been playing, and I am co-founder of an existing clan that is pretty powerful. The goal would be to start with 10 of us. Figure out classes to make a strong party, and journey up together. We would also recruit a bunch of new players in game, and slowly grow an unofficial branch out together. Was a XoO clan ever made? If so could I get leader to start leveling it up and putting clan rep on it?
Hahaha Ironjaw, I have the same experience. Lineage 2 was one of the first MMOs I ever played and absolutely loved it... This is a very tempting offer to come back and try it again. I will let you know!
