The ability to render ray tracing in real time is revolutionary, but unfortunately the hardware in this card is only capable of running at best 60fps in 1080p with ray tracing turned on. So no it is not worth it to buy for the new feature. That will be something 2 generations away from now that is cool to have and actually revolutionary when we can use the feature. These are just re-purposed cards from the Tesla stuff falling through and Nvidia needing to make money on their R&D. This generation will be extremely short lived, and both AMD and Nvidia will have new 7nm cards out next year.

    Oh my God 60fps ?

Alright thanks I'll stick to my 400CAN 1070TI that does the job perfectly so far

Change in 2 years then even maybe for an AMD (they might achieve with gpus what they did with CPUs)
