So got in some time on this last night, had some stability issues but otherwise pretty fun. Definitely have some issues with dyign from thirst or hunger if you dont pay attention you die super fast and god forbid you lag while trying to eat or drink you will die quick. Couldnt find my corpse any time I died but its not such a big deal at low levels Building is pretty easy, everything uses a snap grid although for the life of me I could not install my door and then it bugged out and i couldnt interact with anything and just got a "you cant place that here" error over and over until i logged Smacking critters is pretty fun, deer are freaking beasts! They are tankier than the ever turtle monsters i wish you could split logs for twigs/branches to make stuff. use picks for stone, and axes for wood. got triple the mats when using the right tool. wish i didnt have to eat quite so often and didnt have to gather so many twigs, and could use more carry weight. i assume this gets easier as you level but not sure how many points youd want to give up for it. you can repair tools, dont be like me and make 18 tools and keep chucking the broken ones.
The game definitely feels like ARK but a less hectic version of it. And you don't have to worry about sniper rifles and OP dinos. My only concern is with how small the map is. It's friggin tiny and and static.
