WildStar Beta Weekend Event 2/28-3/2 SERVER: NEXUS THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL XOO MEMBERS! EVENT INFORMATION The WildStar Division will be hosting a WildStar Beta Weekend Event this weekend 2/28-3/2 in conjunction with the Carbine Studios WildStar Weekend Beta Event. Carbine Studio's event will run from this Friday at 7:00AM PST until 11:59PM PST on Sunday. EVENT DETAILS The event times are listed below. We will meet in TeamSpeak in the WildStar section, and the goal of this event will be to have a great time playing WildStar! The Xen of Onslaught event will run at the following times: Friday 2/28: Starting at 8PM EST. Saturday 3/1: Starting at 8PM EST. Sunday 3/2: Starting at 6PM EST. NEED A BETA KEY? Do you need a Beta Key? Well, you're in luck! I have a limited supply of keys that will go on a first come first served basis. We need to specifiy a few things tho : - On Which server do u want to do the test (there are 4 : i'll let u know the names tonight, i only remember Nexus and Odysia); - Do we use dedicated characters for the event (start all at the same time and play those characters during the events only) because otherwise we might not be able to do much things together if we have big lvl diff ? - There are 2 paths to lvl up dominion wise for lower levels, i think the alternative route is much better (the one leaving the starting area with the chua ship) and faster to lvl too. PVP starts only at lvl 6 and up to 14 (then it's another bracket) so we could all meet with pvp compatible characters and do some instances together ? I'm not sure what level is the first dungeon. I think it's around 14, even if there's some lower lvl instance before.
Haibane, We will announce the server before Friday so people will know where to make their characters. I really didn't want to dictate what people did for this first event because it will likely be a lot of peoples first time in-game. I'd love to get people together for PvP and Dungeons, but the main goal for this event just to get members together playing WildStar. I don't have a problem with people planning specific in-game functions and if you want to discuss it more, please make a thread in the WildStar section.
Let's role Exiles for this beta. It will preserve the Dominion story for launch and it will give us an inside look at what our future competition may look like.
