But that depends on what's changed since I left. What's changed, other than the supported games ? Who's still around from when I was active ? What happened to my previous forum account ? My posts are still there, but not linked to any forum account. Though I see I'm not the only person affected.
I forget how much exactly has changed - there are at least a few familiar faces but might not be that many.
Welcome back ed, nice to see you considering a return. @Changed Almost everything about XoO has changed, the leadership, members, game focus, policy, attitude, forum focus and memberbase has drastically changed. Though, as an XoH veteran you'll find that the guild is actually more in line with XoH than it was previously. We've shrunk down quite a bit and don't chase high-end goals as much anymore, TBH because of the makeup of the guild we've really just been smouldering in anticipation for the big bonfire of GW2 and Planetside2, so if you're joining you can expect quite a well put together division. We have a GW2 meeting coming up so talk to someone about getting yourself on TS as a guest, either that or re-apply to GW1/GW2 division and get on the forums to find out more from the members directly. Hey Meemo. Some of us are still around, though activity has dropped off a bit. Gris and Becky seem to be coming back for GW2 beta. Azzy is busy with other stuff these days but I'd be surprised if she doesn't pop in. Nova kind of disappeared, Radicus got his account banned, we still haven't heard from Ruud, and the rest of the ex-XoP people have been gone so long I've forgotten their names... Your forum account was probably deleted for inactivity, that happens after a year or so.
I've applied to join the GW2 division. GW 1 doesn't have any interest for me any more, so I won't be asking to rejoin there now that I've got 30 HoM points. I lost interest in the games I was playing with XoO, which meant all I was doing was hanging around the forum arguing with people. One day I decided that I had had enough of that, so I stopped coming to the forum.
@Hanuman You better add me to that group! Just placed my pre-order today. D3 + GW2..should keep me busy.
@Forum Good call, I think you showed me SD once and they had some quality posters, really don't blame you for not xooforuming when not gaming. We'd love to have you back as long as you're planning to PvP or PvX @Group It's not my thread, check the gw2 section =]
