Euro does not translate to Dollars though. Goods dont follow exchange rates, especially in computers. The people in Europe always pay a lot more for things. For example, banks may say the exchange rate is 1.43, but the street says the exchange rate is 1 - 1.15. Id be very surprised if these headphones sold for $250+ here in the US. EDIT: I just looked at the Tom's article, and in it they say the price is the same for both Euro and Dollar. "$179.99 (179.99 euro)" They seem like very technologically advanced headphones though. I hope the technology translates to quality sound, as I have yet to find a 7.1 headset that has done so :/
According to Max PC they're ($180) next quarter, which is pretty comparable. Edit: I use the Carcharias BTW and can def vouch for Razer making an ideal headset.

i just picked up the corsair vengeance 1500 USB 7.1 headset they are pretty damn good !!! games sound great now for sure only downside is lack of bass for my music but it might be a setting somewhere
Yeah I have to have my bass, I'm a music junkie so I need to find something with good bass. On any given system in my room I have no less then a 1000w 5.1 surround system, and I've got two of them, so I needz my bass cannon!!! - You can't dubstep without bass
true story i wish i could throw my old 2 12" subs and 3000w amp in my R32 ... but i might end up getting a small 8" or 10" tube just for a bit more punch then factory but yea the headset i have are great for gaming not as much for music
As a user of the Razer Carchiaris I can say they definitely make quality headphones. These things nice bass and great sound quality. I also love the cables. I own 3 of them
My Cobalt came standard with a Bose stereo system, its freaking ridiculous! I went to go work out this morning and turned on my car to warm up and walked away, 20 feet later I hear my stereo kick on and I can feel it lmao, gotta love it!
very nice, no idea what my civic came with, but for just being speakers no sub it sounds pretty deese
The Razer Carcharias is the only headset I can wear for 6+ hours without any discomfort or pain what-so-ever.
