I can't really decide on my view for this. Gold farming (online) isn't exactly a fun job after you have done it for a week straight. At the same time though, it just doesn't seem right.
back in the days of wow i used to know a goldfarmer. obviously wasnt able to talk to her allot but she was from taiwan and actually liked the game but couldnt affort to buy her own account. Now we can all be asses and say HA ! thats a good thing however to her it was a job nothing more. Not that i like goldfarmers etc infact i hate em but yeh.. just another way to pass the time.
No way would I do that if I was in Jail. I would spend my time exercising. Come out an even better athlete than I already am I also knew a few gold farmers in GW and actually spent some time doing chest runs with them. They were really nice people.
It's punishment, if they don't like it then who the heck cares. I wouldn't say this is anymore cruel than breaking rocks. That is why China is a bad place to get arrested.
