Dear god I cannot wait for this movie. The graphic novel is incredible and anyone who hasn't read it, needs to purchase and read it immediately!

 

Fuck this looked so good until the token broad appeared, but I'm still going to go see it and love it to bits, then be appalled and disgusted when 100,000 new watchmen fans smear it like hell all over the internets like the cancer they are.

um yeah.
easy to make/high viewership...don't have to worry about films that might piss off this group or that group...escapist and most importantly a marketing wet dream. Toyetics (one of my favorite words...so insidious) producing every aspect of the film into everything you do and should buy. even save cash on that pesky writer/researcher costs in pre-production. "here actor, here are the comics. read them, it tells you how to be their character and even shows you the expressions to make".

But do they have to wear those goofy costumes? I've never read the Watchmen, but from the covers, I thought it was something different.

 

Quicktime is just... painful. The only personal experience I can think of comparing using Quicktime to would be when I got a Root Canal. Quicktime is the worst thing in the world. Apple really needs to learn to program much less obtrusive software.

as for obtrusive and poor programing Shiek is absolutely right. As a sys admin that works in the guts of linux, Microsoft and Apple on an enterprise level I find no other company more hair pullingly frustratingly obnoxious and poorly designed than Apple products.

as for video playback YouTube is terrible...but only because of its users and their encoders/ compressors. now that Google has increased the quality of video that could be dumped on their servers and supported codex that play it back, YouTube could be a competitor for QT.
the range and flexibility of YouTube's API blows QT out of the water hands down.

 

Looks good, will be interesting to see how close to the original they stick... god I love that book heh

 

hopefully the only thing they change is all of the blatant doc manhattan full frontal

 

Quicktime is fucking garbage.

But I saw this trailer in The Dark Knight previews. I almost crapped myself.

QT does suck compared to flash.
