(Empire, and Chaos keep theirs[i believe]) and are releasing them through patches later on. And they are cutting out 4 classes.. Choppa (Greenskin) Hammerer (Dwarf) Blackguard (Dark Elf) Knight of the Blazing Sun (Empire)
Was posted in the WAR forums earlier. I'm not too worried. Better to remove content that is broken, unfinished or not fun rather than just throw content at us.
It is up in the air if we will see the missing archetypes filled. 1) They may get them up to the standard of the others and patch them in later. 2) They may scarp them, make new classes to fill those roles, and patch them in later. 3) They may never fill in those archetypes.
At least they made it even. : P 2 classes of same archetype cut from each side. I wonder how much balancing the two sides made an impact on their decision.
I didn't see the Blackguard as being that popular of a dark elf class anyway. Losing the Choppa kinda sux, though. I completely disagree with Mark's reasoning on the cap city drop not impacting the what are now secondary races, though. "Because it's their side"?! When would a dark elf fight and die for a Chaos city "because it's their side"? Dark elves are dark elves, greenskins are greenskins, chaos is ...everything that doesn't fit into a specific race. Unless Malekith himself tells me to I'm not dying for any "side". Well...unless there's lots of pointy eared "high" elves there. I hate them.
I just hope that them taking out those towns does not impact peoples choices in regards to faction. I would hate to see less dark elves and green skins because of this.
