My Olympus digital audio recorder (for recording lectures) comes with "VCVA" which is basically voice activation and doesn't record silence. Does anyone know of any audio software that can do that so I don't risk not recording valuble info playing around with the settings during a lecture? It would be nice if there were programs that could filter out air conditioning and paper shuffling as well.
