Samsung has proven to be very reliable with its SSDs, but is usualy just a little behind in terms of speed and keeps its controller design for a LONG time which makes them fall pretty far behind after a generation or two. With this new drive it looks like it is as fast and the latest Sandforce based drives, so if Samsung can pull off its same reliability as they have had in the past then this drive looks like it will be the best thing you can buy.

Samsung for an SSD? I hadn't thought of them. Which is odd I've only ever bought Samsung phones, monitors, and televisions. I guess this is one more thing I can add to their list.
