I know it isnt for another 3 months but I want to get the ball rolling early so we can hopefully get more XoO members there. Last year it was a blast and I want it to be better this year.
http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/ Sept 4-6. Alot of companies bring demo's of there games and let random people play them and talk to the developers. There is also a concert every night the bands playing this year are MC Frontalot, Feezepops, Jonathon Coulton, Anamanaguchi, Paul and Storm, and Metroid Metal. They do alot of panels and have guest speakers on topics such as: How to Break into the Game Industry, Writing in Games, How Marketing and PR really works in games. If your a gamer this is your heaven its the new E3 for the Gamers themselves now that E3 doesnt let the public in.
Yeah, sadly September 4-6 is almost exactly the wrong time for me to have any chance of making it, so not this year.
