As i'm working on my new sig (with an inspiration close to personalriot's) i've relooked my desktop as well using rainmeter. It's pretty neat and doesn't take much resources at all. The whole stuff's animated too :)

  2. I've never heard of Rainmeter, this looks awesome.

I used RocketDock in my XP days but loved Win7's simple UI.

Going to check this out when we get our net back.

  3. Bitch please,

Actually I'm still working on mine. Need to fix up quite a few things. Yours is pretty cool though, I like it.

Thx tho, i like urs too :) Mine's my very first try.

What's the globe u have on the bottom ? Seems pretty interesting.

  5. Its just a rotating sphere, nothing special. You can get that and a lot of the things I use from either the Hight-Tec Desktop or SimplyNovaV1 rainmeter layouts.

    Very cool!

There is something like this for Linux that I was meaning to get into. I think I will dig into this first.

Anyone know what the one for Linux is? I can't recall the name for the life of me.

  10. Looks like a lot of wasted resources, If i could have one icon on the desktop that expands into categories id be a happy man.

With 16 Gb of RAM I'm not worried about running out. You could say windows aero is also a huge waste of resources and a lot of people run aero while playing games. I'm under 3 Gb of usage.
