Intel presentation failure

  1. Anyone see this epic failure from Intel today?

It was supposed to showcase how their new ultrabook can play a DirectX 11 game. But as you can clearly see, all Intel is doing is trying to cheat by playing a video, which it cant even do well.

    is this a joke?

  3. No, sadly that is real and actually happened. It was a presentation from Intel at CES for their new Ivy Bridge ultrabook.

Ya that was pretty embarrassing for Intel. To outright lie like that...twice. This is why I can't take demo's at E3, CES, or any other big convention seriously anymore. I just can't trust a product until I hold it in my own hands and fiddle with it.

faux sho'. I seriously thought this whole thing was a big hoax and a rumor until I confirmed it to multiple sources... Intel basically aborted the entire platform's credibility in less than two minutes. Im just baffled they would act so cavalier with what has to of cost many, many millions to develop.

  7. he kind of saves himself at the end, because he says you can drive one handed, and even no handed since it was being driven backstage and not up here.. Maybe it was trying to be a joke?>

Yeah, you could tell he was told to do that by his boss at the last minute.

  9. I like how the video FROZE after he said GO! Lol... priceless.

What did he say at the end, when he took both hands off the wheel?

  10. Classic....intel

  11. Same here.

  12. <--- AMD Inside! :p

Always saw Intel as overpriced and not worth the little extra over AMD.
