If you guys haven't heard of this game I would suggest checking it out. I had finished watching about 4 episodes of ST:TNG before I came across this so I was in the space game mindset. So far I have logged 7 hours and have only made it to the final stage once on easy >.< Then got decimated by the final boss. Only unlocked 1 ship for getting to sector 5 and one extra layout for the kestral. 50% off from the website
Had much success with it yet? It took me some time to get used to not being spoon fed how to overcome every scenario. I was in a Mantis system and was boarded by 4 mantis soldiers You can't take them 1:1 since they have 2x melee bonus so I dumped the atmosphere from the ship in hopes of suffocating them but they got to navigation where I had my last 2 guys and killed em
fight them in your medical bay OR out number em I got up to the boss on easy ... did not last very long to be honest
The boss continues to blow me up after a while (hate drones) 4 tries and still cant finish the boss. Played on hard (or was it called normal?) the only difference in easy is that it gives you a little more scrap but the difficulty is the same. Great game though
I'm still in the same situation as you >.< I've only managed to unlock the secondary ship configs for the 2 ships that are easiest to get
Holy crap this game is awesome. I bought it last night at 12.00 and didn't get to sleep till 5am. Not easy by any means though.
yeah I love FTL <3 we should make a high scores thread I still haven't beaten the last boss tho, always get smashed on the drones part
