woo, after some fastness farming I finally managed to snag myself a skullmasher. The SS doesn't show it but it comes with the damage x6, which is delicious on a sniper rifle. also, does anyone have any concrete info on the automatic leveling down of weapons? I hear it's due to your proficiency, but if that's the case... you still had to be the original level to wield/obtain it anyway :X
gamespy is pendrix, got a soldier who is decent. I dunno, i think the other classes do dps a lot better than soldiers oh well.

As soon as my new machine is up and running, I'll be playing this as well. I am reading talk of Steam and Gamespy, How are people playing this and linking up?
It runs on the gamespy network so all you need is a gamespy account, which can be annoying at times. But as long as the host has the right ports forwarded connecting seems to be pretty easy. Steam is acting as just a distributor on this one I think, especially since there's no cd key or any means of protection on the game.
