Hello in the old forum there was a thread where peoples were giving away trial CD key to other member. i like to try out this game and i wonder if someone here could be kind enought to give me one. P.S. Where are all the game specific forums BTW ?
Welcome back Haxo. There are game forums up. Make sure you sign up for the XoO_Members usergroup. As for the AoC trial keys, I don't think they are available yet. I could be wrong though.
It's a marketting ploy. They want you to feel so frustrating in not getting one that you will go and buy the game.
Why should I feel frustrated at not getting to play one MMO when there are plenty of others out there ? Especially when all the other decent ones offer free trials.
So they think AoC is bad enough that will be too many who quit after their trial ends (compared to the people that subscribe) that the trial won't be profitable ?
Age of Conan as it stands right now feels like a beta. There aren't that many bugs left to fix, but when stats like strength and wisdom don't even work....it kinda makes you go what the fuck is funcom thinking.
So there aren't many bugs, but they bugs they have are major ? Like the male/female attack issues. I can see how the male/female attack issues may of gone unnoticed, but how the fuck did faulty character stats get passed the in-house testing ?
Good to hear. Unless memory leaks are really bad, I can generally overlook them because a client restart should clear them if the OS it doing its job well. So does anyone have an estimate of how fast the leaks eat up memory ?
Depends on how much you zone into different areas and such. Some times it takes hours after I log in, other times I got to restart within 10 minutes.
