Release is right around the corner I would imagine so I hope we can build a strong force in the game as it sounds to be considerably better than EVE and on that note, quite different than EVE. ya it started about 2 weeks ago ... a buddy of mine got in and said its not the same as eve it will be fun but not as engrossing as eve is
If we had some people playing this, I would consider giving it a shot. Sadly there needs to be a game that unites XoO in majority to a title so we can start strong.
I wish I had the dedication to get into EVE but I don't. Hopefully JGE will be slightly easier to get into.
I think I will always have a part of me that is glued to playing eve. Its a game i can just sit back and not have to concentrate much on. Im looking forward to JGE though, I love a good space combat sim. ANother game to keep an eye out which is like JGE is Black Prophecy http://www.blackprophecy-game.com/ Not that much content atm to be honest but one interesting aspect is you can go into the turrets onboard stations ( and supposedly Capital ships ) and fire at the enemy from them. But I would still recomend anyone and everyone to try EvE, lots of content constantly be added and alot to do always.
