guess ill work on a new banner and let me know what things you need to "fix" the problems and I can work around it pretty easy I imagine.
I have the menu stuff working now and fixed the image links issues (at least any I saw) I think it might be workable now. I might zap the "test site" and reinstall it as a copy of this site just without the post content so were working from the same code again.
Are we beta testing this skin? Because it's going to make blending images super complicated if swapable skins is the norm.
I can create a guide that shows people how to create images that have "blank" bg's so they blend with any color rather than trying to match a forum color.
just use this for the edges for now. You can use this for both sides. Just re-name it to cat_left and cat_right respectively.
this should remove a lot of the pixelation at the bottom of the image. If anyone has any comments, im more than willing to test your idea out on the test site.

I would say stop working on the test site until I can get it reinstalled with what is currently on our live site, as we are not in sync now because I had to do mods to make things work on the live site. I don't have time to do this right now, I have a huge report due early Jan. that requires a ton of work, so it's gonna have to wait till after that probably.
tbh I dont really like this one...the text just isnt working for me I think. I posted this so some people could get ideas on what they may like to see in a final copy. this one I did and kinda liked for its simplicity yet, cool look. couldnt figure out where to add "Xen of Onslaught" so I just left it out. Ideas are welcome. this is a blank template with no text, this is what the bg looked like before the text was added. PS> any image linked off site just needs to be saved and uploaded to the site ftp. @ Pan - its supposed to fade into the bg, so it will get harder to see and as you said blurry the further away from the top and center you go.
Yes, it's supposed to fade, fade being the operative word. It isn't faded properly though, thus the blurryness and pixelation.
i like kyoji only thing is the "news and updates" and the "XoO General" i think i would perfer it not to be bubbled out and rather have like flat =P if not going with his i say yeller
updated the banners, I have the holidays off and im a bit bored so I was just tinkering a bit. I like this one the best and is my most recent - the last one. =P
