Looks great. Apparently it is going to be a 5v5 3 lane moba-lite game. Honestly I am not too sure about this one. At the moment we currently have Paladins, Paragon, Overwatch, and Lawbreakers incoming next year. A list for those people who may not follow the industry: Class-based Shooter: Overwatch, Lawbreakers Moba-Lite: Paragon Open-map objective based: Paladins Of course, there is some cross over between the groups for some of the games. The biggest problem I see is that they are all going to be competing for the same player base if they are free and it is likely that only one/two of them are going to succeed. Overwatch pretty much has a free ticket for doing well thanks to the Blizzard community (not to say that the core game isn't great). My biggest issues with Paragon is that it is going to be directly competing with a game like Smite. Which has the same perspective, 3 lanes, and a much better foundation than Paragon.
What I see here also is player base. While MOBA's and MOBA like concepts have been doing really well for a short time. I don't really see anything rising to the level of LoL or DOTA. At least someone is attempting to challenge SMITE on the MOBA 3rd person world. Because I really want to see more MOBAs come out this way to pull more people from LOL and DOTA. To grow the 3rdMOBA genre. (I personally hate the top down myself, Jes) I'll give anything a try personally so hopefully we can see it in the near future. DT
