While it looks good, I don't think that the logo is fit for that type of a background. It's shiny and futuristic while the background is not, causing it to stand out as a colored object among pure black and white. If that's what you've intended -- it worked, however, in that case I'd also have the title be of the same style. Personally I'd try something more sci-fi as the background to complement the logo, rather then juxtapose it.
