That's way fucked up man, way fucked up.

I'm not really a creative guy for this kind of crap so i doubt i'll jump in that minecraft version of things, but making players pay to do the job of world builders & devs is quite WTF ARE U THINKING to me. In Pirates of the Burning Sea they let players build ship and all but they didn't make em pay to do so at least... But, well, if people actually pay 60 bucks+ to create content for a game they'll have to purchase to actually play, then, go ahead guys.

It's like SOE is a Quebec company now. Make people pay for some crazy shit that's free everywhere else in the world. And people actually pay...

  5. you seem to have missed the part where you can sell what you create. if you still dont want too create..there is still the game to play.

  6. You aren't paying anything to play and build in Landmark, the packs are for nicknacks and alpha access. Landmark is free. And the graphics they decide to pull from Landmark doesn't go into a game you have to purchase either. Next is also free.

Paying/donating to guarantee a spot in alpha or beta is nothing new. Especially with F2P, it is akin to the game box or a start-up fee (at least that is what the publishers and developers are hoping you'll see it as). Anyway, you did it for Star Citizen. Same concept.

yeah, no reason to be up in arms about it. Its nothing new, sinister, or a bad deal. If you have interest in landmark, go for it!
