Here are some things to come once F2P goes live, EME has said we should have this live with in 1 or 2 months after F2P

I assumed they would be announcing it sooner since GF is bleeding players lol..... Im assuming GF will run TERA just like AION lol. Game Forge is a horrible company and since it will be F2P expect even worst service.


Ill stick with EME for now, hopefully this is a bright future for TERA and wont take the route of AION like NcSoft is doing atm

 

i also have Tera US version, but only the free account untill lvl 28. So if Tera europe will be as horrible as you say i might play on the US server ^^

 

Well from what Iv heard both TERA EU and F2P AION GF or Frogster bans/deletes any complaint thread/ players. Hardly updating the game... TERA EU took along time to get the Queen update after us and EU AION still a few patches behind I think still

Most stay on EU do to there ping or they have horrid ISP so EU is the best for them

 

Well..when i play Tera US i dont have that many problems with ping. Guess time diff is the only issue. Will see how it goes

 

Well more EU players might be witching to TERA NA once F2P comes and also Nexus has more time slots its around


AND SPREAD THE WORD for NA tera lol maybe we can get a XoO guild up and running and ready for the Faction wars

Honestly ??? Tera was a game that i wanted to make my next big thing.
IT FAILED me hard balls... and eventualy ended up in me not willing to game at all..

no mater if it goes F2P, r even if they give money along to play. im not going back. about the EU players. most of them Moved away from XoO... you will have a hard time getting them all back.

I was posting this for NA not EU. Also gameforge/froggster sucked and killed EU TERA faster then NA died out

Also TERA will be getting a new update that will bring a revamp political system along with a faction system (from what iv seen its like Cabal) and more PvP stuff along with PvE stuff

 

its actually f2p now if anyone wanted to log in today. i'm still thinking whether or not if i wanna get back into the swing of things with tera.

 

Tera was too much of a hype and had so many good idears, but i guess it failed big.
Nexus was a big fail too..they had to put nexus offline alot.
I didnt do PVP battleground, but i havnt heard anything good about it..
Tera looks great and had alot of great potencial

Huh? your talking about EU? or NA? bc never heard NA Nexus was ever down.

And here was me thinking it was unreasonable to expect FFXIV: Realm Reborn to be F2P. Are there actually any MMOs left running a sub model other than WoW?

 

Is this game worth trying? I remember having beta access, but only played it like 3 levels, then I got a strange after-taste of Aion in my mouth, and quit.

Could someone give me a quick summary of its strength and weaknesses, such as how's PvE/PvP? What is end-game like? Is it any fun (subjective, I know!)

 

Tera EU.. too many peeps where at the same spot i guess..server coudnt handle it or something like that
