people over-reacting to the LHC is no new news as evidented by

at one point I was doing some research into micro blackholes just to see if they were even a real issue... turns out, most wouldn't even have the size to sustain themselves long enough to do any damage :x

and the strange matter/strangelets we aren't even 100% sure of their existance...

people need to stfu and let science do the crazy shit (plus, IF it were to destroy the world... I doubt it would be a long ordeal considering ground zero for it is ON our planet, so if we stop existing... how are we gonna be pissed!)

 

I have only one thing to say about the LHC:

Commence Primary Ignition!.

 

But what if it rips a hole in the aurasphere and opens a gateway to hell and lets Xenu and his brainwashed alien souls through to make us depressed and need to pay for counseling?

 

Call in the 4th or 5th Marcabian Invasion Fleet to counter attack?

 

I think this is just people going nuts over nothing. But on the bright side if it does destroy the earth we won't know until a few seconds before we're dead. What's going to happen? Is someone at ground zero going to send a radio transmission that a black hole is forming around him and is engulfing the facility/planet? No, those waves will get sucked right on in. Complete radio silence from anywhere in sight of or affected by(duh) the black hole. The only real hope of detection would be a satellite that was somehow not pulled into the atmosphere and had snap shots of some really fucky shit going on where the LHC used to be. All in all it'd be the most peaceful apocalypse ever.

 

Then we keep firing it through the hole to rip holes in anything trying to come through.

If it is powerful to rip a hole into hell, then it should be powerful enough to cause a lot of damage to the things on the other side that can't open the hole themselves.

On the other hand, if they are capable of opening the hole themselves and haven't, doesn't that mean they are scared of us ?
