DRM Gone Wild! No used game on Xbox 720?

  2. Just a rumor, console is still at least a year or two out
    If true, Gamestop would probably boycott it and that would be a huge loss on Mictosoft sales.
     
  3. No, it wouldn't. Gamestop would toe the line like every other incompetent retailer out there.
     
  4. They really do hate the trade in system at places like game-stop. It's getting more like PC all the time.
     
  5. The next gen systems are going to be proprietary PCs. They should stop multi platform development and agree on a standard OS, just keep the game contracts or studios separate.

  7. I bet they are not the only company looking into something to control resale of games.

    Vender lock in is exactly what you want to avoid we don't need a repeat of the Personal computer industry with over 98% of all systems running the worst fucking possible software.
