Really like the cooperative aspect, as well as the "character customization system that lets players tweak, color, and outfit their soldiers--Space Marines and the evil Chaos Space Marines--in 1.8 billion potential ways."
I'm looking forward to it but I don't have the dough for it. I'll be trying out the "free trial" until steam has it on sale.
Yea I like anything Warhammer period. Hence staying in WAR way past its overdue date. Game seems to have good promise, im going to try demo on xbox, if I like, ill switch to comp.
Some of the multiplayer videos look kinda meh, I am hoping its just the person playing. Hopefully the campaign/singleplayer will be very good (I'll definitely play through the SP since its 40k lore).
I don't know if it was just me, or was every player a raptor/chaos raptor? Cause if that's the case with this game there's almost no point to buying it.
I really hope not, but I'm afraid there won't be many "classes" or what-not. Or is that info already released?
Saw a couple of Tac/Chaos marines and Veterans/Berserkers. Only saw a handful with jumpacks. Did not see any heavy support characters, though I swear I saw a blast that could only have come from a plasma cannon.
wonders if hes invisible The details have already been released. Theres three classes, Assault, Tact, and Devastator. Assault have jumppacks, Tacts are walking spawnpoints (teleport homer), and Devastators get heavy weapons. iirc.
I've been pretty disappointed in most of the Warhammer 40k stuff lately. DOW1 was decent, the new DOW2 plays clunky and just looks bad IMO. Hopefully the Warhammer MMO is decent, but its not coming out for a while now.
They downgraded us from thousands of point battles to hundreds with DOW2, and it's really gay with the DOW series
