XoO is playing Planetside again!

For those of you who don't visit the members area or don't have access to it, Dash and several others have started carrying the VS flag into war once more.

I'm in. We have 9 XoO members who are playing now. If you never played Planetside, You really should give it a shot. There really is nothing else like it out there.

I don't remember my old secret question to get back in the game with my old guy. But he was only BR6 so yeah.. I'll refresh it later tonight and see what everyone is up to.

 

I'll get one and play once I get my new PC. Not worth me getting it now since I wont be able to run it

 

Is your acct name that you log into PS with the same one in game?

 

Once you log into PS you'll have the character select screen. Your char doesn't necessarily have to have the same name.

 

Shit, i cant find my cds! And the dowloaded version was aftershock.. not sure if it includes the first.

you've been saying this since i joined.....when does dream become reality? Start taxes now sir so i don't see this with every post hahahaha

 

For anyone that has downloaded the free client from sony, you must do the following if you run vista...(like myself)

When you run it, the luanchpad will try to download the upgraded version of itself, however, it wont save it, and just close. This step repeats if you try again. However,

I spent about an hour searching around, and found this fix to work.

Rigth click the PS shortcut, and go to compatibility mode, choose windows xp service pack 2, and click, run with admin rights.

Hope this helps anyone who might have had the same problem.

I'm playing, I have no idea wtf I'm doing, I'm getting sick from motion sickness in the first hr of play and I've played for 3 hrs now cuz I killzzzzz stuffzzz and I'm having fun!!!! Come play!!!

It's pretty active and we have massive battles constantly. Morde said it's more active now than when XoO quit PS.
