I have a carpet and upholstery cleaning business. So far I've just been going under my LLC name(TigerWillow LLC) but it's time for me to put the business 'under' the LLC, and get a more appropriate name for this business.

I'm also looking for new marketing angles, and input about expanding this type of business.

    Any Ideas are appreciated.

  7. What's your business model look like? Standard or are you including a pick up and delivery service?

I clean peoples carpets and upholstery. In the case of area rugs, I can pick up and drop off for deeper cleaning, but mostly just do the work in their homes.

So people invite you into their homes to "clean their carpets"? That's either a great way to disguise what you really do for them, or code when you work for the mob. Or a combination of the two, which would explain your sig :p

Seriously: Dash Cleaning. Can advertise it in the verb form too!

  19. Well if you're looking for an revenue upswing, offer a monthly/bi-monthly return fee at X% off, I typically stick to a linear scale with a 5% increase per month added.

Meaning, if I come back for standard cycle maintenance, bi-annual is 85%, quarterly 80%, bi-monthly 75%, monthly 70%.

I also add in a reduced cost to return if something does go wrong, if they're monthly it gets comped provided it was the equipment that went bad not someone destroying it.

So just spit balling for upgrading your current revenue streams you may want to consider.

Night janitorial work, once again you come up with a plan based on sqft and what services you want to offer, I'd lean towards:

    Vaccuuming
    Trash Removal
    Window Cleaning
    Carpet Cleaning
    Plant Watering

Set a package for daily, every other day, twice a week, weekly, bi-weekly. Throw in perks for the packages with greater repetition. Something like: Free carpet cleaning once a month, exterior window washing (I'd set a limit at 2 stories max unless you have a lift).

I know you're in ATL, but up here snow removal and salting is a big time service as no one ever wants to do it themselves. If that is an occurrence down there, it's something worth considering.

Dash steamers seems the best as it will be an inside name for you and us but people will think it means quick service.
