Surprising to not see a hint of this on the forums, but after they having released yet another amazing patch the game was brought to my attention. In my opinion it is one of the best FPS that exists period just for its tactical squad based gameplay, you can't play by your self simple, best you can do is solo is scout as a sniper providing enemy coordinates and killing squad leaders or providing cover fire as your squad moves. 64 player servers on 4sq Km maps = Amazing, you need a legitimate copy of BF2 and then need to download the mod which is at a current 4.5gb's ::x: Though as I said its an older game but I think if your into tactical or miltitary sim FPS and haven't tried Project Reality, you need to check it out. Great game to play a bit now and then on the side, its great because everyone plays together and works together. Tanks and other armored vehicles take 2+ members to man, one gunner, driver, and mounted gunner. Anyway check it out! http://www.realitymod.com/
No, Battlefield 2 was, and to some still is, the best battlefield game out there. I loved it. Huge maps, true vehicle warfare, parachuting, squad leader / squad / commander roles. Pure win.
medics generally have assault rifles with no scopes and are essential to each infantry squad. No Medic = squad dies very fast.
I loved it too, but it wasn't very balanced for competitive play. But it was the ULTIMATE PUB FPS EVER. imo
